bobbing

A little like bobbing in gentle ocean waves. Little ups and little downs.

Little ups like cuddles from Alexander, then Alexander giving really nice cuddles to Xavier, then Kynan giving Alexander a kiss on the head. 3 boys being completely adorable and sweet.

Little downs: 5 minutes later they are all shrieking and pulling at each other. Xavier gets whacked in the eye by Kynan.

Little ups: Kynan running to the freezer to get an ice pack for Xavier, saying "Sorry Mummy" and "Sorry Xavier".

Little downs: frustrating attempts to dowload Microsoft Office and refusal to acknowledge our product key, which is valid because we have used it before.

Little ups: desperate to get word up and running on my lap top, because inspiration for a novel plot is flowing well.

I can handle the these sorts of life rythyms, with only occassional curse words involved.

Testing 1...2...3

My first attempt at blogging.

My paddock is a sadly neglected block of land in inner city Brisbane, with an old house filled with VJs and rooms desperately in need of a makeover. I share this house with 4 unruly noise and chaos specialists (aka my boys) and a poodle who most definitely does not like poodle hair cuts. Last but not least, my husband. Love you, S. Along with my boys, my passions are reading and writing (regency romance is my fave at the moment), knitting, and lusting after renovation shows and magazines. Hopefully my lust for renovation will inspire me enough to actually do some renovations of my own soon.

Passions in the Paddock is the title of a parody of romance novels - Aussie style. A bit of fun my sisters and I had. I loved the title so much, I simply had to use it for my blog.
